My son loves coca-cola in the little glass bottles and I always try to have some here when he visits.

I agree totally. Plastic ruins the taste and canned is not much better.

Be sure and recycle the bottles FS it is a lot of glass for the pleasure. Hem, I thought you drank water?

This reminds me of the movie "Open Range". One of the stars (Robert Duval) asks the owner of an old country store for some candy, and a cigar. AS he and his partner (Kevin Costner) are about to be in a gun fight where he knows he and his friend will be out numbered. The clerk suggests a chocolate bar all the way from Switzerland, he says "it is supposed to melt in your mouth". Duval says, "how do you know, have you ever tried one"? "Well, no" says the clerk. So Duval takes the bar and he tries it and he gives a piece to the clerk and says "it is good, and it does melts right in your mouth" then he gives a piece to the clerk and says "Its been right in front of you all this time and you have never tried it" and just like you, the clerk thinks it is wonderful.

FSI..what we call "pop" in Canada likewise always tastes better

when drank from a glass bottle...it seems to be recatching on here, too, but I think cans are here to stay....

And believe it or not, from what I've read, beverages in glass bottles stay colder longer than beverages in aluminum cans! I'm sure the taste is better too! So, what flavor soda? Do you have a favorite yet? Although I too rarely drink soda, if I had to choose, I'll take orange . . .
