I remember the '50s well, though I was not as aware of what was going on around the world at that time as I should have been.  Very interesting post.

well the religious thing passed me by but I used to wear a mini skirt while I pushed my babies in their pusher. bending over the pram was ....but it was a fun time of life ...Oh and I was tiny then, No need for a corset after my babies were born.

First of all I must tell you that I really like your art! Words like 'dynamic', 'fluid', 'sensuous' come to mind...And I also love your vignettes of life in the South Africa of that (luckily) bygone era...
