I think it also has to do with the unions demanding a 15 dollar and hour wage for flipping burgers.

Sigh......The increases in cost affects my pocket and (gasp) your pocket too. The increase demonstrates that Corps do not absorb the increased costs but pass it on to their customers. When I have an increase in motorcoach charter costs....I raise my prices.
What is with the comparison of "executives" vs the workers...(like the people running things resulting in 80 hr weeks, little family life of their own, ect.aren't working) No one seeks a career as a McDonald's counter person.....well, no one except low information voters......

so they no longer have a dollar menu but a dollar and more menu which is so stupid...i mean seriously that is just like any other menu restaurants have...it won't hurt these corporations to insure their employees...the cost doesn't really effect the profits as much as they cry about...just look at their annual take home pay compared to their workers...then add in their bonuses which those workers don't get a share of but work their arses off for them to have...
