it's been so long i forgot i already read this and commented. margaret mead made a short film entitled "bathing babies in three cultures." no wonder i never totally bought into her teachings. i never had an babies to bathe to my middle aged regret.

margaret mead was an old fiersome well known lesbian anthropologist which i remember from having received a ba in sociology-anthropology. i like this statement but for me having the spiritual gift of celibacy i know that God knows i'm home at night. as a matter of fact, i often am home all day!:) yet i do need people and have many friends and acquaintances.

I think that this is a wonderful thought and not one that I had really considered. which shows that I have many many blessings to count.
