I'm driving a demon car right now! It is like a vampire yet it dranins me of money instead of blood. Well, maybe that analogy is a little harsh but you get the general idea. I also wanted to thank you for being one of the first few people to read one of my blogs! If you're ever in Newcastle, Texas we'd love to have you in our little Cafe!

true things stranger then fiction
Sounds to me like the car was just tired and wanted a break. My car does that sometimes. It too is older and strange things happen at times.

My problems with cars are usually more like the time I put my groceries in the car at the store, got in, turned the key and got "click" and nothing more. I ran over to the nearby service station (this was back when service station meant just that) and asked one of the mechanics to consult. He told me he thought it might be "the solenoid" and he didn't have time to fix it just then. I had to run 6 blocks home and get my husband, who walked back to the store and got the car. When he got home he said, "Next time before you start it, put it in park.
