I'm on both, and for each you can take what you want, or ignore what you don't want. Facebook keeps me in touch with distant family and my older grandchidren who visit less now (that age!) and Twitter keeps me up to date on hockey info or business contacts. I'm also on LinkedIn.

I must be in the minority these days, because I want absolutely nothing to do with either Twitter or FaceBook! There's way too much personal information floating around out there as it is . . .

I am on both..for me twitter is just a way of advertising my items from EBay..And catching up on the new books out from my favorite authors. So for the average person who doesn't do or want to do any of that, I'd say no to twitter. Facebook as a lot of games that you can play with family and friends contributing to to the fun of it. I like Facebook for that reason. And for catching up on what the family and all my friends are doing. But for games alot more. So if neither of those interests you, then I'd say no to Facebook as well.

I myself am on Facebook but am not super active. Therefore, I do not feel that I miss out much there.

I want a couple of hours of play with Teddy...then hand him back!!!LOL. He sounds so delicious. Such fun.
I finally went onto FB...never to twitter because I don't want to...FB for me is a way of keeping up with news and pictures from Australia but I find it a bit silly really. I do prefer Blogit for writing...or the now old fashioned email!!!
