What memories that must hold for you.  I loved visiting here with you.
Years ago, we used to seek out ghost towns out west.  The really lonesome ones we would camp out in the old buildings and feel the ambience of times gone by.  My favorite was in the San Juan Mountains above Telluride in an old rooming house in a gold-mining area with views of snow-covered mountain peaks framed by the glassless windows.

So much change, our Home on the farm has been empty for years now and must be falling apart. Just like myself. I never thought I could really get old until my parents died. Then I knew everything bad was possible.

If I were young and had money I would buy it Jay, might be worth a fortune in 50 years time. And I would pin your poem on the kitchen wall.

It is very tough to see those places we have such fond memories of change so much and in some instances go through so much decay.
