BILL, there in your ROOST...

... carolyn (mighty) moe here, i don't want ANYONE to do ANY explaining to me... i want them to SHOW not TELL as the old adage goes...

... by the way, i've written a couple of screenplays... one of them i abandoned on a manic bender in a glendale, ca motel room and the other is on a good friends computer...

... first one's about -- you guessed it my experiences getting diagnosed bipolar... an agent said "it's been done"... (richard gere)...

... one has a lot of potential and since i'm not planning on doing anything with it... you can have it... it's about the insanity of our pet culture... how we spend so much money on and pay so much attention to our pets than we do homeless people, etc... it's kind of a cross between the bob newhart show and green acres... when a psychiatrist and her banker boyfriend open up a pet therapy center on the outskirts of the city... it originally had mostly gay characters... i came up with the idea in 1990 when i placed in an abc sponsored twin peaks contest of "who killed laura palmer?" they were making a commercial for the fall show and wanted some nonprofessionals espousing their ideas... i'd forgotten what i'd sent in so i failed the screen test but it did swell my head and i began thinking about "... now what does the public want to hear/see?"... dogs and cats of course... and now look what's happening on you tube... it's hilarious... anyway, my feature length script needs some work so there you can have the premise, the idea... it's yours... a gift from heaven... don't forget me in your favor bank... carolyn (mighty) moe... estherville, ia

I really like stories that feed the main character and then it does not matter too much about other detail. Although sometimes a preface will just initiate an easier entry,

DC

I like to see things in a novel flow naturally.

I like a bit of information on the back cover and then let me sit down and read my story. if they want to explain something do it at the end. I read to enjoy these days.
