P. S.

I don't know if it is a coincidence or collective conscience, but I'd like it if you would read my post in Freerain on Religion and politics http://www.bloggingnetwork.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/freerains_Reign/  Your opinion matters to me.

History repeats itself
Thanks for the recommendation to John Adams.  I saw the author on C-Span's Booknotes, my favorite weekend channel.  While revamping our website after 9-11, I learned alot about our founding fathers, especially Samuel Adams and his remarkable determination in bringing the seeds of discent to fruitition.  In my education I never learned about this marvelous man, hum, but I was given Washington as the "Father of our Nation" for a substitute.  Then, to add insult to injury leaped from Washingto to a passing nod to Jefferson and on to the Great Unionist, Lincoln.  No wonder Americans don't know about democracy or what it means to be and American.  Thus, we are compelled to repeat historical atrocities, not only on ourselves, but on the rest of the world.  So remains the model of Presidential greatness found only in the men of war.
