Very thought-provoking. I think I do this a lot, look for the harvest and am disappointed when I've not raised a feast in a day.

Nice. Stevenson is worth a visit. When I was a kid and sick in bed,
my mother would read to me his poem "The Land of Counterpane." It's about a little boy who, when sick in bed, brought his toy soldiers and buildings and stuff into bed with him and arranged them on the landscape that the sheets and blankets provided. I never forgot it. He also wrote a wonderful essay, "Pulvis et Umbra", about the places where we find unexpected goodness.
