Well, today is Tuesday (actually, it's almost over), and I certainly hope that everything was finally straightened out today...

Oh Sam

Just 4 more days....Just 4 more days!

How frustrating to wait so long, only to end up waiting some more. Sounds like your agent is worse than useless. But when all this is done and the house is officially yours, you can rest in peace knowing you won't ever have to deal with her again!

well I dont know what more you can do but I would be checking in after its all over with and see if you can file some kind of complaint about the agent, she should be happy she is getting her money

I would have been as angry as you!  That agent is an A$$ for sure!  Things should go smoother from now on, I can not see why it would not since they are only waiting on the lender approval.

your agent has done everything in her power from what i can see to try to get you to walk out on the deal...why i suppose we will never know....But you have a book here from all that you have written about this process here in blogit...you should put it together and publish it as an Ebook. I am sure a lot of people would like to know how you have stuck this out. admire Y' kid and I cannot believe it will be 4 more days....

I do not think highly of your agent either.

Boy, sometimes it really, really sounds like none of these people have any idea what they're doing . . .

Your financial diligence has been inspirational to me on Blogit and no doubt, made me better, though not in your league.   It may have saved the house sale for you when you are dealing with a difficult sale.  It is close now and should go through even if they parley until the end.

She forgot to bring the right documents, and attempted to put the fault on you. All through this deal she has been found lacking, so obviously is in the wrong trade. Someone should suggest she's be better working at something else...cleaning stables, for instance.

Sam do not ever buy another house after this, I can't believe it , well I can a few years ago we sold a piece of land it was supposed to be a quick sale and it took two years, the money was needed and even after it was sold the money did not come for ages, I blamed the solicitors and said I would not use them again. Sounds familiar.
