Balance is they key. Some either Do not get it or they just put their needs and desires above everyone and everything.

I feel that the there needs to be a balance between work and family. If one has the time they can take off without punishment from work, then they could have taken off and spent time day together as a family as long as the school was aware that both children would be out for the day.

I am so glad that part of my life is all behind me. Years ago now...I just wouldn't have the stamina to do it again. I watch my son and his family juggle everything and I am amazed at how they manage.

Well I took half a day off to help my Father when he could not bend and the old School mistress stigmatized me for doing so and denied me biscuits that were provided to the children as a vitamin supplement
