The thunder reminds me of my younger son who is a professional percussionist but who has shut me out of his life now...so although I love storms and this poem, I always feel  that MOther's pain now when the thunder rolls.

Ah yes - this poem decribes the storm so well! I sat and watched its approach yesterday, safe on my gallery until it started to pour so hard that the fascination turned to unease....
