They do seem to have a lot of risk associated with them, it seems a shame we don't seriously consider alternative power sources

They sure are a mess when they blow.  My Great-Nephew was in the Coast Guard and had to help clean up the last big one in the Gulf.

You can look at it like this, after the gulf oil spill the president closed those waters to drilling, for American companies, but gave Brazil 2 billion dollars to drill their own wells in even deeper waters...We only get one side of the news Bill, we must look deeper for our information if we are ever to find truth.

There will always be accidents Bill it is human nature to try things that are not 100% kosher, Remember the old fellow who made wings and thought that he could fly.
