I prefer the can first myself...

 - the can can serve many purposes after its contents are gone too :)

There is something so refreshing about a bottle of soda.. my preference is Dr Pepper.. they were my favorite as a kid. Too bad I cant find them that way anymore..

My first office job back in 1955, introduced me to a Coke machine with bottled Cokes costing 5 cents apiece.  I drank so many of them that I suddenly, and forever could no longer stand Coca Cola.  The only other convenient drink there was coffee, so I took up that habit.

öI prefer the fountain but like yours a good blend and sweet. The glass bottles would be my second. They were common when I was a kid. The chain fountain colas are weak. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

That's really interesting FSI.  I don't drink much pop any more, but one of my all time favourites is root beer, followed by cream soda and then MOXIE, which you can only buy here in Maine.

I like my root beer over ice in a 16 oz thermos mug...You know, so it don't spill in the car.

My son prefers coca cola in the small glass bottles. He swears it tastes better. Not being a soda drinker, I can't argue.

FSI..

We don't have much pop (soda), but we sure drink a lot of bottled water, especially in this hot weather...it comes in plastic bottles, easily recycled....

Hopefully I needn't point out the obvious that soda really isn't all that good for you. But as long as you don't drink gallons every day, I guess you'll be okay. And believe it or not, from what I've read, beverages ( any beverage ) stays colder longer in glass bottles than it does in aluminum cans! Just something to consider . . .
