I wonder if those I have loved, even my mother, if they felt like this, if she, after father passed...I hope not...So sad.

I like how Adnohr reminds us that we're never truly alone but your poem most certainly paints a poignant and vivid picture of those moments we we think we are.

How desperately sad and terrible is that feeling, until we lift our head and remember that we are never really alone. You captured the emotion completely.
