I think all conflict has the same root fighting for a perceived right by any means necessary no matter the cost or what it takes to any degree.

The mobs are more business like, sophisticated and sinister overall; otherwise I think it is the same thing.

I feel that there are similiarities in that there is the obvious death, business aspect and the chaos that those feuds caused or cause depending on the timing.
