Fantastic shot!
Did you take the picture? A great lightning shot is one of those photographic goals just about every photographer has to go for... and so hard to catch!

This post is so well written that it reads like a beautiful poem.

i love a storm but not to stand outside and watch. The air is heavy here
tonight but no relieving rain.

I imagine that those rains and storms are quite the sight to see in person.

I am in Florida too. We had a storm in our area and we were without lights for about 4 hours. We thought we would miss the game. The lights came on in time. You pictures captures storms well. Good post.

I can relate. I've been at the shore during certain storms, and the sights, sounds, smells and feelings are indescribable, although you did a good job relaying them here. Great pic . . .

You really give us a sense of the power and the magic of a storm experienced by the shore! And I fully understand your fascination with it, since I too am in love with the sea...
