Pick Me:)
When Jenna woke up, she thought she was blind. Try as she might she could not open her eyes. The last thing she remembered she was talking to the police when she felt a dull blow to the back of her neck.
Now, lying on a strange and cold surface, she struggled to get her wits about her–the fact that she couldn't open her eyes wasn't helping. As her senses sharpened she heard a faint, rhythmic beep pulsing to her right. With all her effort she concentrated on opening her eyelids. Becoming more and more coherent, she felt her pulse quicken. She could now hear the low murmur of several voices. Heavy and unccoperative her eyelids began to open and were immediately flooded with a wash of bright white light. The voices grew louder. She could hear them sayign her name over and over. Squinting from the lights, Jenna turned her head to the left. Forms, human forms, were now coming into focus. They surrounded her, staring benevolently down on her. A familiar face was leaning towards her, but she couldn't quite place it. Jenna's mind raced. Where am I? What happened?
Now only inches away, Jenna recognized the face. She quickly realized it wasn't who she thought it was. No, it was someone entirely different; someone who had harmed her many times before. And that someone wasn't Mr. Nobody. Jenna sucked in a deep breath and prepared to scream and that's when her hand came to her stomach and she felt what they had done. The scar had been re-opened. Jenna's brain could not process anymore. Her chest heaved to catch-up with the demands her heart was placing on her frail body. And as quickly as she awoke, the faces began to fade and Jenna drifted deep into blackness as the slow rhythmic beep continued on.

pick me! pick me!

“Now nobody said you were a loser!”

            “You trying to be funny???”

“er, uh, wait a minute…  nobody would try to be funny in a situation like this!”

“That’s it!  One more crack like that and I’m coming out there myself!”

Jenna meanwhile has edged nearer to the scissors on the coffee table, and just as she’s about to get them, she hears Trevor say, “There’s nobody like you!”

“Why you, and Mr. Nobody lunges for the door, just as Jenna plunges the scissors into his leg.

one more time...!

At that precise moment, Precious the cat, fully recovered from her earlier stomach upset, leaps from the top of the armoire onto Mr. Nobody's head, perforating his scalp and sending his toupée flying.  Jenna's fears are overcome by laughter, and Nobody finds himself in a momentary panic - stuggling to dislodge the cat from his naked head as rivulets of blood make their way into his eyes.

Trevor sees his window of opportunity and bursts through the door.

Jenna purrs, "Why Trevor, is that a pistol in your pocket?"
