Depends on who is doing the most work and taking the most responsibility. Mature people regardless of age, should run the budget.

When it comes to budgeting, I do not know enough to say, as just like Kabu, it's outside of my life experiences...I have known a few children, who were raised by grandparents. Their grandparents did have positive influences on them.
