Re: TAPs

LOL, Mia890.  Actually, it brought back some old memories of a man from India who decided to join our church.  He always attended in a black suit and a pink turban.  (It was a Southern Baptist Church.)  He was here on an education visa and eventually went back to India.

Re: TAPS

I can see that....and The First Lady as a preacher's wife.  Actually, it seems to be an In Thing to have a Reverand before the name these days.

TAPs

I keep forgetting to apologize - I feel awful. It was never my intent to ruin Nelson Eddy for you!!

Uh Oh

You said "Taser"!!

Better hope that word isn't part of an elaborate algorithm, or they really will be taking an interest in your posts. But I doubt they'd be bored with your work - this is probably the most entertaining thing they've read in weeks

You are so right. However, the way words are twisted these days that make the most innocent remark appear a threat can make one really take care in what they do and say.

TAPS...

Listening to Obama making excuses for this program was enough to make a sane person otherwise..."We're listening, but we're not listening...don't worry, we won't tell anyone what we hear.."....yes, listen to suspected troublemakers, but back off trying to eavesdrop on everyone...ahh, what the heck, what's another trillion dollars in the deficit??....

you know its just like the gun thing, the media and the people make such a big deal out of nothing.  They dont get the conversations just know who called who only if its a well known terriost person.  If it helps then we shouldnt bitch so much.  I am with you I would be boring to and I dont use my cell phone to make many phone calls anyway

It was Franklin who said "those who would trade their liberty for safety deserve neither liberty nor safety".

TAPS

I think it actually began under Bush, but is continuing under Obama in spite of the fact that during his election campaign in '08 he charged Bush with being 'un-American' because of it...Having said that, these are the actions of a country at war, and one could in fact argue that we are at war, even though the government will never admit it...

For Kabu

They really do have the parties which are becoming more popular all the time.  One could be tased by anyone, anywhere, anytime.  They come with a video lesson on how to arm them and how to use them.

Re: LOL...You have tasers on your mind, I loved what you said at

I guess I do.  LOL.  I just read a book in which an older lady went to a Taser Party which worked like a Tupperware Party and she bought herself a fashion taser in wild pink with black enamel highlights.

Yes get one and I suggest at least a .38 to go with it for security after he/she rouses. No I am not afraid, but I vividly remember WWII and the actions of a man who took over his own country, and how Russia held their people for many years. I suppose your great grandparents remember corrupt government is why they came here. God is in charge but I believe he sent in army after army to rid his people of evil. I love you dear woman so what if we disagree that is the beauty of freedom.

It would be my luck, if I had a taser, that I'd shock myself with it.

I'm not all that thrilled to think Big Brother is watching/listening. Kinda reminds me of the old horror stories the media used to tell about life in the Soviet Union.
