Dear, dear TAPS

Oh how you told my story with different characters and incidents, but....  I count you a close friend even if I haven't ever seen you. I am so delighted you are not writing to say goodbye... You are a foundation post of this site. I do miss you when you are not here. Thank you for having been such a blessing for so many years through your many posts.

I can only imagine that almost everyone in here has a somewhat similar story; they're not quite the same person they were whenever it was that they first started here. Things change over time, that's for sure! I'm glad you've come to terms about certain aspects of your past. It really does make things a little easier, doesn't it? And here's another quote ( actually a song lyric ) to consider . . . "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans." - John Lennon. Be well, and write when you feel up to it . . .

yes with time things do change and I am lucky if I can remember what I did yesterday and most the things I write about is venting about my life

Well I think it is like a family Taps only we are on our best behaviour. Mischievously I would love to tease at times, but I know I mustn't , well only a little tiny bit. It is a bit different telling someone something when one is reading sign language , but in stark words it takes on a different complex.

TAPS

We came here about the same time. I have always enjoyed your writing and you as I know my sisters. Fact is I addressed PatB as Sis tonight and that is how I think in loving terms about ladies in Blogit.Keep well, drop in when you can and realize you have not so physically close real human family out here that love you.

I have sat in that same way, and felt the love for those I have never met and prayed for them, and felt their pain and their joy...It is good.

I cannot conceive of Blogit without Taps to read. I know you have slowed

down and all but everytime you are here my mouse almost clicks for itself knowing that I have to read what you have written.

Don't fret! You may have changed - I think we all do over the span of almost a decade - but for me you're still the TAPS I found and grew to like as a friend when I started here in '06...

it doesn't matter how many entries you make...just keep stopping by and let us know you are alive and well...we all go through changes and dry spells or writer's block....but I find inspiration sometimes in what others write...I do hope that I never offend anybody...I have a rather quirky sense of humor and can be very sarcastic ... but I love to read everybody's posts and all the comments I receive...I really miss blogit when I can't logon everyday ... big hug TAPS

Ooops - don't know why my font came in some big (I wasn't shouting - LOL).

Yet even when you think you have little of interest to write about or suggest you’re feeling uninspired you always manage to come up with a post that is well written and engaging. I have “come and gone” of late as well – sometimes because my life just took another turn or sometimes because the well was dry, so to speak.  Blogit, however, IS a friendly place to return to after a wee hiatus and there are always some friendly names and face to remind us why we got hooked into the site in the first place.

It is neat to read all of the changes that we have undergone during our writing experiences...I am glad to read that while you are posting less, you have no plans of leaving.

What Ciel said, and more. You were one of the first writers I read in here, I immediately clicked you into my favorites, and I still enjoy your posts tremendously. None of us are exactly the people we were, and that's the way it is supposed to be. The essence of original self is still there, though, and yours is formidable! Blogit would not be the same without you.

Please don't ever think you are not being 'a good blogit member'--

You are one of the best!  Your writing still shares your thoughts and feelings, the things that are important to you.  Writing and reading still connects you with us, and you're an important member of the blogit community.

Weird, isn't it, how we look at ourselves then from the perspective of now.

It's hard to think that was really me on those weekend camping trips, showing kids how to lay a campfire, how to roll a sleeping bag, what berries are edible... I was a kid myself then and didn't know it. These days my idea of roughing it is a night away from my own pillow.
