your post was really good , as i have a little bit saved for a weekend get a way but i do not consider it a vacation if i have to go with my spouse, so i am trying to think of things i can do to get away without him, and if i do something he does not like or would not to do he would let me go alone and your suggestion about being a hostess in a park or attraction is something i would never have thought of .
your suggestion would work since his idea of a vacation is to hurry up and go someplace close and spend what you have shopping fast so you can get back home. my idea is a place in the woods, tent if need be and take my time to see all the trees and wildlife.
