That was a lot to say and I enjoyed all of it. Send us some photos of Sons garden when it comes out. Be blessed.

We reveal more than we want at times and not enough at other times by the way we carry ourselves! When I look back it's tough to believe I was once a college athlete! Time has a way of catching up or perhaps we change more with the times than we would like to admit! And that's all I have to say about that! lol sam

well we all have our pet projects or hobbies....that's what is so wonderful....we can appreciate what others can do that we have as of yet not mastered

Oh my. I don't really want to get into the performance/looks ratio right now, limping like I am after walking about 1000 miles over Japan's streets and byways, while watching the energetic 5 year old who walked the same distance dancing around without a whimper. Interesting post - but it made me realize how my gears have rusted.

A good post and you and I share some similarities. I was never a sports jock though, our similarities into lazing in my green leather chair and my huffing and puffing up the stairs.Never mind luv, we can look back down a long road of living and contributing to society and propagating the faith as it were.

Although my general health is okay, I think my running days are long over too! Now we have to pace ourselves, no matter what we're doing!

I don't think we ever feel really young Taps. Each stage we go through we think ' wish I were younger.' I suppose in the end one just appreciates what one has still got.

Seeing a person's photos tells us things about them and the times...I wonder what people will think when they look at photos ofme from now.

It's what time does...

every flower starts in the seed, then sprouts a plant and leaves, and a bud appears, that bursts into its own beauty--then fades, and in its heart, creates the next seed.  And the plant grows on and bigger, lovelier in its own ways, until the winter comes.

To clarify, my dad was an astronomer who spent his career at the Hayden Planetarium of the American Museum of Natural History, and you're quite right, this goes some ways to explaining the kinds of things I collect, with camera, or physically.

How ambitious you've always been, TAPS... Going the extra mile.

I know it was fun then, and now it's good to think about. Inspiring read. :)

I know what you mean! I too am not quite were I was or ought to be in either the looks or performance departments, but getting out my marathon pics has given me an added incentive! For now though - what was it that Kurtz said in The Heart of Darkness? Ah yes, "The weather, the weather"...
