you can set up an account and ck out your ss on line too. interesting thing you posted on ss. i was listening to a program on npr about social security. it was suppose to be a retirement fund, then they started paying for food stamps, adc, housing etc, and now are paying out hugh sums for disability benefits. 250,000 americans are applying each and every month for disability and that number is expected to go up!! no wonder it will not be there long, with fewer paying into and more taking out, it is doomed!!!!
it was a good idea that went wrong.
