Taps,

I am so happy to read that your grandson and his family are coming home to you...but so sad to read that he must return to Afghanistan.  I will pray for you all and ask the Lord to bring him home to you safely as soon as possible.  Be blessed.

A beautiful child. As Ciel commented, Peter will be happier knowing his family is surrounded by those who love them. He will be in my prayers too, as before.

I am thrilled they are moving back to their families and that charismatic kid will live within one hour of you.  Prayers for Peter go out....  About the poem, Texas or Florida might be nice, but anywhere with a more civilized environment for me.  I seem to have to go with whatever works in life more than picking and choosing and do the best I can with that.

Indeed it is bittersweet.

I guess Peter's deployment was inevitable anyway, but it's very nice that he knows he's got his loved ones close to the rest of the family! And what a cute baby...

He will have a lot less to worry about

with his family relocated to a place better for them in every way, and three hours closer, by air, than they were.

Sleeping baby. So sweet and how brave of Daddy to

keep baby and so many others safe. My grandkids and their baby will remain at 29 for a while - I say "Semper Fi" but I think let's give peace a chance.

It is bittersweet! It seems that things are winding down over there and so I know he will get in and out okay! I will be praying every day for him, too! sam
