It is amazing to me the numbers of people who cannot seem to live without loudness.  I stopped going to the movie theaters mostly because of Dolby Surround Sound.  I also cannot believe the sound coming out of some cars as they pull up next to me at a traffic stop light.

I'm with you, lionreign.  I don't like a lot of noise and I'm not crazy about loads of people in one space.  I absolutely HATE people who insist on selling me things I don't want or need.  I like people very much, but just leave me alone!
