I must confess that I don't really know all that much about Obama's past. I've read a fair bit, but much of it is rather murky, not substantial enough to satisfy a historian's fairly exacting standards.
But I have studied Islam, and I am continuing to do do so, and I can tell you that it is not 'one of the world's beautiful religions' - it's a totalitarian politico-religious ideology of supreme intolerance and viciousness. And that not all Muslims are acting in accordance with its precepts is our good fortune, but just, since those who do have the power to make things a lot worse than they are already...

I've been wondering about that church. It does seem odd that he went there for so long.
