I am sooo sorry for your loss. It is very natural and necessary that we grieve for our pets. There is no time limit and you may find even after years you still miss them very much.

rotten isn't it and although other animals come and go each one has
their own place in our hearts. My Frangipani lived for nearly 20 years and I miss her all the time, yet Graysome is so much fun he has his own part of my heart,
i am sorry Shadow had to go. Sending you hugs.
