That is some seriously cold weather you got there. I hope it doesn't make its way to Maryland...I remember lending a few things to fellow teenagers in school. I ended up giving those things away.

well to start off its freezing cold here too, and even in PHX the coldest its been in something like 20 years, but come spring they will be complaining about the heat.  Now as far as my place went there were a lot of things that screwed the sales up and some of the time it was the person handling the financing not doing their jobs, but I am in AZ trying to sell a house in CA and my realtor had to ride those people it seemed all the time.  I am sorry if I scared you.

Thus that old saying "Neither a lender nor a borrower be!" And I guess certain bills seem different when you have to pay them yourself! A valuable lesson there! And I guess you are being extremely patient concerning the wait for that closing date! Any day now . . .

That reminded me Sam Archie came down when I was out and borrowed my ear protectors. I have to watch the little bugger. Although I have had an extending ladder of his for twenty years and I said to him last week take your ladder away or I shall use it as staging. He mumbled something so I have cut it up at last as I thought it might have the worm and be unsafe. Not that he would use it .but some other poor chap might. How is the migraine you go not mention it, hopefully better?.

It is supposed to get cold here tonight also, but I hope we are not talking as cold as what you are.   At least the snow is shoveled for us and a snowplow goes over our parking lots.  But, mostly I stay in when it comes to that.  Looking out at freshly-fallen snow is fun.

sam

Few people come to borrow tools from me (actually, none that I can remember), simply because I don't have many. Sometimes I can't even find my hammer! But I am trying to remember people who borrowed books form me...Oh, and my LSW has all my pens...

keep going Sam.but it is annoying when another week slips by and one still

knows nothing. I do believe that the paper pushers leave everything on a sale until the last moment then work like crazy to get it done..leaving the buyer and the seller both wrecks. Well that is how it seems in Australia anyway.

The hassle of lending - many forget or lack the courtesy to return things immediately when done, and you end up having to borrow your own stuff back! Still keeping every body part I can possible crossed that way for your house!! The Habs are already practicing on their own at the Brossard Arena!!
