Here in California the weather has been very cold and we are not used to this kind of weather. But snow this is another story. I hope everything goes well for you and have a nice weekend

So far our winter has been light on snow...I wish you well in sorting out things.

I guess we had a wee bit of snow last night but its not sticking and its 18 degrees right now, too cold to snow.  I would much rather have snow then this darn cold.  I can relate to your SIL about the messes, now that I am alone, when my daughter comes over she never puts a thing away and my house is always neat, and of course before it was my job to clean the house

Geez, I hope your energy holds out! Between the house and the snow, I think you may be long overdue for a nice, long, relaxing bubble bath!

Hello Sam

Despite the snow and all the hard work, it is lovely to see you again. I have myself been away. I was sad but am very happy to see you at Blogit. Happy New Year to you and your family.

When people take a different appraco to things from you they can be such a hinderance, no matter how much they want to help.  I tend to prefer decorating alone, at least I know it will be done the way I want it

I like doing it myself. The kitchen floor is almost done, but outside it is snowing and I can't use the table saw in the snow.

Goodness you have a bundle of reserved energy stored Sam. I hate the thought of washing walls, but I suppose one is only covering the gunge if one doesn't. I think you should do it yourself, your standards are pretty high I guess.

From what I observe, you are not working alone.  You have knack and determination with you.

Whew, sounds ambitious, Dear Sam..:)

Well darn, lost my comment somehow! I'll just wish you the best of everything and as far as your SIL's offer, sometimes the best help is none at all - spoken from painting adventures of the past, lol.

I would do the painting by myself! Have some good music and some cold beer, and it'll be done in no time. Of course, if your SIL would contribute to the refreshments...

Oh Yeah babe, turn up the music and work till you drop. Sounds like

you need your SIL helping about as much as you would need me. If I was an 'elper you would probably find Gnomes painted on a wall!!

I can understand you wanting to do it alone. I tend to work better that way too, especially when it is something that is pleasant, such as doing your OWN new house!! Don't forget to leave time for hockey games!!!
