scoop, okay, I read him. I like some Jimmy Breslin writing, some I don't.
This writing, I didn't like. I think that he's getting really old and cutting sentences and sentiments much shorter as he writes, which I think makes the words drier and harder for me to swallow. I didn't like his take on dogs and kids and I finally feel sorry for the old booger.
My dad, the reporter, wrote longer than he should have, writing after his edge was gone and I think that Jimmy is now doing the same thing. Kinda Bah Humbug nowadays.
Thanks for reading me and for agreeing with me and not Jimmy Breslin.

Benzi I read a column that really bothered me the link is
http://www.newsday.com/news/columnists/ny-jimmybreslin.columnist I have always loved Jimmy Breslin who now writes for Newsday. I knew he did not like dogs that much but after I read this Dec 27th column I am really upset with him. It concerns grandchildren and dogs. I have four dogs and two granddaughters and I love them. Check it out

shawnmichel, dogs teach almost as much as children in some households.
Big goofy black Labs are wonderful. Bailey is a joy, but too much sometimes, for my girls. Boundless energy.

patrolsarge, dogs need companions in working families and tho'
they may hate the idea in the beginning, eventually, the companion becomes their greatest joy and fastest friend. I hope that Tek appreciates the new arrival.
My two accidentally sleep touching each other now, to stay warm now that the nights have hit 19 degrees outside and that chill seems to seep into the house during the day. Autumn sleeps across Makeda's back, tucked between her and the sofa back, then I cover them both with Makeda's Peruvian wool blanket. Dog piles are good.
