TAPS

Hello dear daring lady. I know what you mean but you do need to get those tires taken care of soon. Thank God you have boys that will get on your case if you get too sassy. I also know what you mean about doing your things yourself. Love and blessings all next year.

It's always better to be safe than sorry! Icy roads are dangerous! I would have chastised my mom too!

Re: lustorlove

He had offered but I'm stubborn.  I like to do things for myself if at all possible.

I was wondering why you were out there and not your son, my car tires are ok for regular weather but they dont go through snow very well

Good your sons are watching for you. Driving in the snow is very dangerous. Have a Happy New Year

About that crockpot pizza, it's not a pizza with bread dough...

It's all the ingredients you'd put on pizza, the red sauce, cheese, pepperoni, but it calls for wide flat noodles instead of bread crust. Tastes good, but I'd describe it more as a casserole type dish than pizza.

A whole lot of excitement there in the winter weather. I am glad to read that you are alright.

Goodness Taps the most important part of the car. In the old days I used to hate it when it snowed and I had to crawl under the van to fix snow chains.

It is good your sons look out for you, and you were wise not to take the freeway.

Oh, dear... We've been spoiled by the past winter without snow

and not much in the way of chill factors. I'm glad you made it home safely, and hope you'll do the same next month, when it's time to make another drug run. :) Happy New Year.

TAPS!

You do deserve a scolding! Even in summer you shouldn't drive on bald tires! And in winter you need proper snow tires, not merely the so-called 'all-seasons' ones, that are really useless in snow...

I'm glad your sons are looking after you!

'Feard to walk on ice, but not to propel several tons of steel and glass across it on bald tires...
