Well, I can't smell the faces or the lemons ( although that's usually a pleasant fragrance ) but as they say, take those lemons and make lemonade. And while you're doing that, stop worrying about those negative comments and just be yourself! I'll have a glass of that lemonade now . . .

We have known each other a long time and I know you as a very loving person. I'll never stop telling folks that a friend of mine that I love wrote the only loving poem in my book 'Love and Sobriety' for Joycie and I after she had died. Hey girl, this old man loves you like a sister, now give us a smile like 'adnohr' does, the chalice should pick you up still no? Jesus loves you too.†

The good Lord knows we disagree at times, you a Progressive and me a Conservative, but I don't remember the Founders agree on much either...What a boring world were everyone agrees. When you write something I like I have been there.

Ah well I try and agree with everyone one Ray, it is the cowardly way forward to great riches.
Seriously I can't help liking you for your perseverance, you are really brave, If I remember rightly you had a drawing which you liked,a portrait, any chance of seeing it again?. I don't think you are being lemoned Ray. I sometimes just don't bother to post if the response is feeble. Folk then sometimes comment out of boredom. I am afraid the hey days have slipped over the horizon, we are the straggles on a leaky boat, but one day we might see an Albatross perhaps from China. Wong nomber.

It is like the rejection slips we paint our walls with or the blog we wrote
on another site no one visits or the book we had printed that no one buys. we just have to keep writing painting being who we are. I love the fact that you are you.

lol you don't smell...some don't take criticism well...some don't like when you disagree with them or speak counter to what they think...some will comment on everything you post....some love you just for being you...don't worry about the rest...keep on writing and do what you love...that is what matters
