It seems odd reading about such extreme weather and the trials it causes, here you tell the difference in season by the temperature of the rain

That was the year we got so much snow that people's roofs were falling in...I went up and shoveled ours off. When I was done I could walk off of the roof where the snow had been shoveled. I have a fifteen foot eves.

Snow.  It's fun reading about it, remembering it in the past, looking at pictures of it, but I'm not much looking forward to it this year.  I think I will just stay at home, inside near the heat, and look out.
