Straightforward
In English it also fits the term sarcasm which it the poorest form of communication. It is chili as in hot or chilly as in cold to the object of the communication when the writer hasn't enough gall and couth to state their thoughts in good taste.

When I say the word chilly, or the word chili, since they sound the same, I think of my Dad cooking his own special recipe from scratch in a big pot and the wonderful aroma of it when I opened the door coming home from school.
