Thanks for sharing this incredible story.What an extraordinary moment it must have been and i feel its in the glory of such precious moments that life and freedom get a new meaning.

An excellent post, and a wonderful story. Yes, these are the tales the news media should be sending people's way so they understand that there are those in the military who do care!

A standing ovation to you Jay   I absolutely love this piece. I think regardless of what our personel political views are or what our stance on war is, it's the men and women whoserve to protect our freedom we should be thinking about. They put their lives on the line so that we can enjoy the freedom of doing things we take for granted, such as, freely writing out thoughts, feelings, and opinions on a site like blogit. Really Jay, I can't say enough about what you wrote. I can say this, I will copy and paste it to other sites, if it's okay with you, and share it. It's worth reading for sure. Great write Jay.
