Well Con I never heard my Mother say those words, perhaps it was a different generation.
Of course she loved us all deeply, but would rarely show any emotion. I found a little note that she wrote when she thought she was thought she was going to die.
My siblings would not read it it was too sad. 'Saying she wished she had been a better Mother, but she had tried her best.'
