I did not find the poem to be hurtful. I feel that you have done a fine job in capturing how nature can be.

Your poem "Alone"
I don't think you should ever apologize for anything you write...especially one as thoughtful as this. Nature brought my husband and I together for the same reasons, in the beginning. We met at age 12 at Junior High School dance. We were together for 63 years! And yes, I was one of those 15 year old girls at one time in my life; though not as open and unabashed as they are today about sex!

It's the call of life to life, the imperative to reproduce the species.
Nature doesn't care if the consequences for impulsive coupling are inconvenient or even disastrous for a particular individual - or couple. What nature wants are numbers of offspring, a wide gene pool flowing swift. Fifteen-year-olds are owned by nature.
