I enjoyed that as I had a BIL in the RCN (Royal Cdn. Navy) he was on a Corvette escorting troop ships across the North Atlantic. In the same convoy, his father was the civilian Captain of the Lady Rodney with the troops aboard. Father and son couldn't communicate though with U-boats all around. Great post luv.

ah all caught up with this most interesting story. I do get frustrated when
they write how you have heard enough war stories etc......what they don't understand is that his story is unique to him so very interesting. But this is a great story of ordinary life and how Romantic to marry like that. This is great.
