Re:

Thanks Jay. He has all our support - as long as he stays with the program. I just refuse to watch him slowly kill himself. I will not be a part of that for my own sanity. Congratulations on conquering a very difficult problem.

I am a non-using heroin addict, who drank. If you were to put 100 of us in a treatment plan, in one years time 30 would be dead, 63 would be using and 7 would still be on the program. It will be 8 years on July 10. I couldn't have done it with support at home...I don't think he can either...My Prayers are with your family.

Thanks so much lovelylady! It's nice to know I have people behind me praying and God in front of me leading the way.

Tamijo,

You are doing remarkably well, even to admit that it is difficult for you to "give up control of all that is happening in your life right now.  Your sponsor is right, just keep on praying.  God understands your reservations and is here to see you through it all.  Prayers and much love for you.

I have found in life that most things do have a way of working out.

Re: i am praying for your situation daily. of course your daughter was meant to

You are right of course, Kabu! I cried when I got home-probably from such an emotional weekend but also having to come home to an empty house. I am strong, and yes, husband is in good hands.
