Though in life , if we all are in the same realm, we will encounter defeat at times-part of life.From experience some children do awaken when they have kids of their ow. Good tidings!

Hi Michaud... thank you, and wow.. i guess they do sound like little kids don't they...? (they are 25 and 30). Perhaps when they are in their forties with kids of their own they'll get it

Sounds like kids growing up into strangers and leaving home to return
only to hurt you. Some day when they're in their 20's they may wake up. Good luck.

It does sound very defeatist but it must be very difficult for you to have such distance between you and your son. Painful, I’m sure.
