Believe it or not, I actually knew several of these, but I have just one discrepancy . . . I had read that Chinese checkers originated in England, not Germany! Hmmm . . .

These were trick questions and I failed terribly, but in reference, the Canary Islands are in the Atlantic Ocean, just off the coast of Spain. I mean, geography, and history were the only subjects I was ever good at, and so seldom do I get a chance to use them that I must take every opportunity, but I did fail the test and will write so one hundred times on the blackboard.
