Indeed, there are no lines when people choose to be cruel! This was a most poignant poem with great meaning! sam

C The puppets Kukla, Ollie, and their straight woman Fran Allison hosted the CBS children’s movie on Sunday afternoons in the late 60s. One foreign film followed the friendship of a Christian boy and a Jewish girl. Their parents told them not to play with each other. The boy told her that she killed his messiah. Finally they made up with each other. And there was Corrie ten Boom. During the Second World War her family his Jews in their Netherlands house. Finally someone told on them. The Gestapo arrested the family. But the ten Booms played dumb. Two Jews remained hidden in the family home.  Later Corrie wrote a book. They made a film based on it. So the bottom line’s existing together in love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

People soon forget it was a terrible thing that the world ignored as war takes over all emotions. Nicely written and quite emotive, the grandmother must have had a strong will to survive.
