I have read several pieces on this topic, and there is ample evidence that these occurances are indeed man-made. But I've also read that, even if we were to completely stop the usage of all fossils fuels right now, the damage already committed is irreversable. Strange weather patterns, unusual temperature swings, bizarre wind currents and catastrophic storms both on land and in the sea are the direct result of greenhouse gases that continue to hang in our atmosphere. One natural occurance that is also taking place that many people are unaware of is that, year after year, the moon drifts further and further away from Earth, also causing major fluctuations with the weather patterns. Unfortunately, that we cannot control! I don't think we're all doomed yet, but the writing is on the wall!
