Penni

It's difficult to find the right words at times like these, but I certainly hope your loved one will be cured - there are cures for cancer today...

Illnes and Disease

Hi Penni, I'm new here too and I just love it.  It's very time consuming, makes you feel as though you can see the finish line, but you don't know if the body can make it.  I'm sorry for your family member.  Perhaps it can be cured.  I was just cured of Bladder Cancer last year.  I'll be 71 this May and I feel about 50, not much different.  I have always said pain was the greatest weapon because it is beyond our control most of the time.  Looking at disease as a message or a weapon always helps me, but I understand how you feel. I will pray for that person.  Now I am inviting you to go to my blog and read what I put up for all the writers and poets on Blogit.  I hope it lifts your spirits enough to see a ray of something other than sadness. Love Peace and Laughter

Penni, knowing one has the dreaded "C" anywhere in the body

really changes one's outlook on life...we all know the "next day" isn't guaranteed, but cancer really makes one take a reality check....I've discovered the many websites online can be both a blessing and a curse at times (depending on who is writing what)....
