While I agree with you on philosophical grounds, my vote would go to Romney for practical reasons. Either candidate will get the Republican vote, but I believe Romney has a better chance to garner the independent vote than Gingrich, who's too controversial for many people. Gingrich might beat Obama more impressively in a debate, but it is more important to beat him at the ballot box! (If you guys still have ballot boxes, instead of these horrible electronic voting machines that I hate because of the increased possibility for fraud...)
