Amanda

¾  The younger people at my local coffeehouse play At Last on their CD changer. I don’t remember her in the late 60s. They might have played her. It could have actually been the rhythm and blues chart. They use them on top oldies shows. She had been too that. And, the hit might have faded on the liberal middle of the road station. As it might have been the case on the station with a history of the equivalent of an independent TV station with network programming  and MGM ownership for many years. In the 70s they still controlled the easy listening charts with countrypolitan music like Kenny Rogers and Anne Murray. But later Jim Lowe on WNEW did a cabaret show. At Last probably found more listeners later. And she was good. I liked Nancy Wilson, Ella Fitzgerald, and Sarah Vaughn better though  love.  BC-A, Bill’s R®st.
