A terrible tragedy indeed
But sometimes I can't help but to think that if the powers-that-be were still simply calling that particular condition shell shock instead of the unnecessarily elongated post traumatic stress disorder, perhaps some of these vets would have gotten the proper attention they required.

I find this an extraodinarily insightful and worthwhile reading post
agree or not, it is worth reading and thinking about. No one unless they are living with PTSD can hope to understand how truly terrible it is. Those old Rambo films that followed the Vietnam War aren't far off the mark.
