I've been away for a while, but I'm delighted that you're among those familiar faces still around, (for we all do have a 'face' here, if not in the literal sense). And I am especially glad to hear that all your work is begining to pay off...

Re: Inspirational post! Thanks Pat.

On its own selling the writing books may not be a big earner . It's like any small businessyou've need to be selling something for which there is a demand. I am putting together a whole bunch of portfolio activities. The main point is to facilitate my own writing life. But yes it's also to help others. I've no idea which parts will fly. I also ran a workshop recently attended by 11 people several of whom I am now mentoring. How I wish geography allohelp you to come here and be part of it.

Inspirational post!

I'm feeling that little kick in the gut that means I'm ready to start back into the writer's life. I've been dilly-dallying and piddling for a couple months now, re-designing the back room for a studio/office (in my mind) and generally avoiding writing. The if-only list still includes setting up a storefront bookshop for writers, hosting workshops, selling the how-to books and Writers Market magazines, etc. I've named it "The Write Angle" but haven't had the nerve to locate a spot and invest the rent money. One little voice in my head tells me there's not much of a market for such a place in this town. I think that's wrong.

I'm crossing my fingers that your enterprise flies, that the book becomes a best seller and all the good stuff you've been working for comes to you in this new year.

Try local school or government surplus to start an office.

How about shamelessly re-posting the link to buy your book from you?
